Brahms, Schumann & Mahler: Lieder
Superstar soprano Renée Fleming's first full album of Lieder for almost 20 years features songs by Brahms and Schumann, accompanied by pianist Hartmut Höll. The repertoire includes Brahms's famous Lullaby as well as Schumann's cycle Frauenliebe und -leben. The album concludes with Mahler's Rückert-Lieder, with Christian Thielemann and the Munich Philharmonic as Fleming's accompanists.
