About this event

Dramatic Soprano Linda Watson, whose interpretation of Wagnerian opera roles earned her a Grammy nomination, presents a masterclass for AIMS – The American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. The four very talented young singers – Sopranos Jerilyn Chou (USA), Magdalena Hallste (Austria), Iva Islambegovic (Croatia), and Tenor Shinyoung Kim (South Korea) – enjoyed a full day of private coachings with Linda Watson and pianist Christian Koch prior to the public masterclass. This inspiring evening was recorded in Graz, Austria and emphasizes the AIMS mission: to bridge the gap between fine musical training and a career in music in a unique European environment.
