Arts@Future at Reina Sofía School: Zuzanna Sosnowska – the Voice of the Cello
About this event
Talking about cello is talking about voice: warmth, maximum expression, colors and sensations that touch our soul. This evening we explore this emotional universe with the help of the Polish cellist Zuzanna Sosnowska, accompanied on the piano by Alina Artemyeva, accompanying pianist Professor of the Reina Sofía School. We will take a journey from Bach’s Suites to the suggestive songs by Debussy, in Sosnowska's own arrangement.
The Reina Sofía School of Music is considered one of the leading European Schools for especially gifted students who wish to become professional musicians. Every year, 150 young musicians from more than 30 countries meet renowned teachers in an inspiring building at the centre of Madrid. The tuition-free system, thanks to the scholarships granted by our sponsors, allows those with enough merit to have access to the highest level of education. The School organizes over 300 concerts a year with more than 60,000 attendees, in order to give students the opportunity to mature on stage.
This concert is presented as part of the Arts@Future series in the IDAGIO Global Concert Hall, curated by the Hampsong Foundation.
Your ticket purchase will directly support the participating artists through IDAGIO’s Fair Artist Payout Model: IDAGIO pays 70% of the net revenue directly to the performers.
