Goldberg Variations – The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra with Vesa-Matti Leppänen and Stephen De Pledge
About this event
Described as “hauntingly beautiful and a work of genius” by NZSO Concertmaster Vesa-Matti Leppänen, the Goldberg Variations were an artistic triumph for J. S. Bach.
For three centuries the work has been re-interpreted and arranged for different instruments and ensembles, and now the NZSO brings it to the Michael Fowler Centre, with the variations performed on a variety of instruments.
Your ticket purchase will directly support the participating artists through IDAGIO’s Fair Artist Payout Model: IDAGIO pays 80% of the net revenue directly to the performers.
This stream is available to watch until December 31, 2021.
