Rachmaninoff and Sibelius from the Budapest Festival Orchestra with Yeol Eum Son and Gergely Madaras
About this event
The Budapest Festival Orchestra invites you for an endlessly romantic concert with South Korean pianist Yeol Eum Son, under the baton of Gergely Madaras. Despite her young age, “marvelous, intense and boundlessly virtuosic” pianist Yeol Eum Son, who was called “a model of clarity and fleetness” by The Times, has already performed many challenging concertos in the repertoire. This concert will feature one of the most frequently performed piano concertos in the world (one that brought Rachmaninoff back from depression) as well as a symphony that brought Sibelius notoriety throughout Europe.
Your ticket purchase will directly support the participating artists through IDAGIO’s Fair Artist Payout Model: IDAGIO pays 80% of the net revenue directly to the performers.
Stream available until October 15, 2021.
