VOYAGE - a SongEasel recital in the Café Chanson

About this event

Featuring 2021 anniversary composer Pauline Viardot in a range of her songs and duets, the journey of this recital carries us from Fauré’s glistening L’horizon chimérique to Poulenc’s roaming Banalités and works by Liszt, Brahms and Clara Schumann. Recorded live in Blackheath Halls, London, the recital forms part of SongEasel's 2021 mini-series Café Chanson: celebrating the musical cafe culture of nineteenth-century Paris through song.
