The flutist Emmanuel Pahud leads a double life: He is an outstanding soloist and has been principal flutist of the Berlin Philharmonic since 1993. This alternation is what drives him - as does his curiosity for new and rarely played repertoire. All of that makes him a wonderful ambassador for his instrument.
